Location: The farmhouse is located in a beautiful place with lots of history on the Skillepaadje at the foot of nature reserve De Hoge Berg. Opposite the farm are the Wezenputten. These were owned by the orphanage in Den Burg, which sold the water to the VOC ships that departed from the Texel Roads. Due to its high iron content, this water had an extra long shelf life. The money box in which the proceeds of the water sales were kept is in Museum Kaap Skil in Oudeschild. Via the Skillepaadje you cycle in 5 minutes to the harbor village of Oudeschild. The main village of Den Burg is 1.5 km away. Three completely new apartments have been realized in the historic farmhouse. Apartment C is located at the rear of the building near the communal garden.
