Since wifi is reliable, the cottage can be used as a work/holiday location. Owning a car is desirable if you want to explore this part of the Wild Atlantic Way, but not essential. Bicycles can be rented in the village and Easkey is served by the Ballina -Enniskillen bus line via Sligo. A free shuttle bus is also available on weekends from the village pub to the Cottage.

Take a drive from here to the Ox Mountains and enjoy the clean air, beautiful scenery, lakes and rivers in the rugged county.
