Our log cabin we built in 2017. This property is located on 5 hectares of land in the hamlet of Perrarines belonging to the village of Blandas in the Gard. Blandas is located on the plateau called Le Causse de Blandas. On the property is also our home, a converted barn. (You can use our pool but we are still building the terrace so it might be difficult to access this summer). Be overwhelmed by the wild nature around the house. The log cabin is equipped with every comfort. There are two bedrooms (1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 single beds), so for 4 people. A bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. An equipped kitchen with combi-oven, electric hob, stove hood, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, soda stream, kettle,... It is pleasant to eat outside on the covered terrace, here is also a bbq. There is a lot of documentation available to plan trips in the area.

You are in the middle of nature. The village of Blandas is about 1 km away. Here you can already find a restaurant / tavern. Furthermore, there is a lot to discover and see in the area. At 500 meters from our house you can visit a dolmen, the Cromlech of Perrarines and the menhir du Serre. A little further on you can spot more menhirs and lavagnes and the Cromlech de Mercoulines. Cirque de Navacelles is the largest canyon in Europe. The cirque is classified as a historical monument and you have a fantastic view of this cirque from the viewpoint of Blandas (where there is also a very good restaurant by the way). You are here in the region of the Cathars and consequently you can visit castles, medieval villages and fortresses. Such as La Couvertoirade, the fortress of Saint-Jean d'Alcas, the commanderie of Sainte-Eulalie de Cernon, etc. You will find all the documentation in the cottage. And of course there are many hiking trails to enjoy the lush nature.
