The monumental cheese-cover farmhouse is located in the picturesque village of Noordeinde, lying in protected nature reserve the Eilandspolder. This area is known for its extensive ditches and lakes, where numerous meadow and water birds have found their home. The unique combination of winding waterways, low-lying terrain, idyllic villages and historic towns makes this area truly special. Surrounded by dikes, there are several bicycle and hiking trails, including the Migratory Bird Trail. A stone's throw away is Graft-De Rijp, where all necessary amenities can be found, as well as cozy eateries. For a relaxing getaway, guests can rent electric whisper boats and canoes in neighboring Driehuizen from Café-Restaurant De Vriendschap. In addition, the bustling cities of Alkmaar and Amsterdam, as well as the beach and dunes, are easily accessible from the cottage.
