Our Nature House is all wood, off-grid with the purpose of travel. It has solar panels with batteries and an inverter to 230V for equipment. Now the nature house is next to the farm. There is hot and cold water for kitchen and shower equal to a permanent home. The refrigerator has no freezer compartment.The living room is permanently extended which gives a spacious feeling. (Living room 3.3x4m) The sofa is a sofa bed for possibly 3rd and 4th person. There is a gas heater and now also an electric heater, but this will usually not be needed because the Nature House is very well insulated. Chairs are provided for the terrace. The bed is made and linen is included. The washing machine in the farmhouse can be used by arrangement. Electric bicycle can be charged via 220V. There is a public charging station within 1 km.

The cottage is located between the Frisian lakes in the middle of a meadow bird area. From Oerol you can spot many other birds besides the lapwings and godwits. Also walking or cycling. There are often cows or sheep in the meadow around Oerol. On the lakes you can enjoy sailing (sailing boat, sloop or sup rental nearby is possible). Do you prefer the bicycle? There are beautiful bicycle routes along picturesque villages or along some of the 11 cities of Friesland, such as Sneek, IJlst, Bolsward Hindeloopen and Workum. Bicycles and kayaks are available and can be used by arrangement. Within 1.5 km is a trailer ramp, surf school and public beach. Oudega also has a cozy harbor, terraces and a village store.
