Our houseboat is located in the Veluwemeer in the natura2000 area. You look out over the water where at 20meter distance boats sail by, where the rest of the lake is shallow and thus many water birds gather. Swans nesting next to the houseboat, coots, grebes, kingfishers, ducks, tufted ducks and if you are lucky flamingos or bald eagles passing by. So from the terrace or in bad weather inside, you have something to see all day. Angling is possible from the houseboat or from the quay. Swimming, surfing, canoeing, sub or all kinds of other water sports are possible here. On the property there is a sauna and hot tub, Bikes, boat, canoe or sub for rent.

The flevopolder has much to offer in the way of "new" nature. The polder lies 3.50 meters below the nap. From the houseboat you can walk across the dike into the woods. Cycling around the Veluwe Lake past the Hanseatic cities of Elburg and Harderwijk. At 500m from the houseboat is a bike ferry that sails to Nunspeet where you are so on the Veluwe. In May, of course, the tulip fields are in full bloom. For museums are new heritage Lelystad, Batavia, Aviodrome and schokland recommended. For children there are nearby Walibi, Dolfinarium, Barefoot path ed. For the little ones, a visit to the pancake restaurant Hans and Gretel is a must.
