Villas in France with pool

Undoubtedly, France is among the most popular destinations in the world. This country is known as the world capital of wine and romance and you can definitely enjoy both in a private villa with a pool on a sunny hill somewhere in the countryside. What better way for a relaxing holiday, away from big cities, noise, dirty streets and crowds of people, than a secluded romantic province. Whichever of our options for a villa you choose, rest assured that you will enjoy yourself completely. Vineyards, traditions, and amazing cuisine all paint this beautiful “portrait” of the French countryside.

A nature from the fairytales

There is much more to France than just the typical site of a small town filled with summer villas and their vineyards owned by local winemakers. The nature of the region is spectacular and the Auvergne Volcano national park is a testimony to that, providing an unforgettable experience to its visitors. Volcanoes, thousands of years old, covered in grass and beautiful deep valleys underneath them. The contrast between the emerald grass hills and the “Bleu de France” (blue) color of the sky has inspired many artists from around the globe in creating their form of art.

Of course, the region of Provence is famously known as a heaven on Earth due to the lavender fields. Here, visitors will find many nature reserves, protected areas, lakes and rivers all worth the visit. Les Calanques is a well-known area in Provence, with its typical limestone headlands peeking through on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Also recognized as a national park, Les Calanques is favored by hikers, mountain bikers and rock climbers from France.

Activities not to miss

Wine and food are important parts of French culture. The region of Normandy, for instance, is famous for the abundance of cheese. Camembert, Livarot and many more are among some of the most delicious cheeses in the world, all of which you can try here in Normandy. Local farmers enjoy visits from tourists and will provide wine and cheese enough for a whole football team in order for you to try their best production. Imagine all the cheese you can take home to your villa to enjoy a dinner by the pool.

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in France is the Gorges du Verdon. The canyon is unique due to the color of the water – a bright turquoise. Except for the views, the canyon provides numerous possibilities for adventures. Take the circuit path around the gorge to enjoy the views from atop the rocks on a bike or take a boat and calmly sail down the river. At the entrance of the Verdon Gorge, is the usual spot for water activities, where you can try rafting. The best part about whitewater rafting on the Verdon River is the existence of different rafting routes based on your preference and your experience – for example, one of the routes is suitable for families or groups of children, while others are reserved only for athletic and experienced adrenaline seekers.
